Dualfie — Privacy Policy
In short
Dualfie does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. Everything the app does happens on your iPhone.
What the app uses
- Camera — to show the live preview and to record video and photos with the front and back cameras.
- Microphone — to record sound together with the video.
- Photos (add only) — to save your finished videos and photos. Dualfie can add items to your library; it cannot read or browse the photos and videos you already have.
You can turn each permission off at any time in Settings → Dualfie.
What is stored on your device
- The look and position of the circle (size, colors, border, glow, mirror) are saved locally inside the app so they are still there next time.
- While you record, the video is written to a temporary file. It is deleted once the video has been saved to Photos; anything left over is cleaned up the next time the app starts.
- Your videos and photos live in your Photos library, which is managed by iOS and, if you have turned it on, iCloud Photos, under Apple's terms.
What Dualfie does not do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No ads.
- No analytics or crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs.
- The app does not connect to the internet.
- No tracking of you across other apps or websites.
Children
Because the app collects no information at all, it collects none from children either.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
